Ubuntu 9.04 alpha 1 aka Jaunty Jackalope is out in the wild. I have some of the first desktop gif videos of the Jackalope desktop. It is basically intrepid ibex, the primary changes from Intrepid have been the re-merging of changes from Debian. Updates this is always one of the first things to do and as you can see from the gif image there where 39 updates at first boot of Jaunty Jackalope.

The next thing I will change in Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty is to make changes to the look. I like a big pointer to show me where I am at.
